a snowy success!

we found snow.  in fact, we found a lot of snow.  a lot of beautiful snow.

when i saw this illustration by amber alexander, i recognized the octopus immediately!  you can’t tell me that it’s not the same one i had the pleasure of meeting at the oregon aquarium back in september.
it simply must be the same one.

as some of you know i’ve been working on some side projects of my own since i’ve been home, mostly to do with textiles.

well, i’ve also been working on some side to those side projects…  really just playing around until i’m inspired to do something else.

both turned out to be a little fanciful and playful.

when was the last time you played with spinning tops?  you probably wouldn’t be able to help yourself if they were as pretty as these from pucciManuli.
